National Technical Education Certificate (NTEC) In Information Technology

The National Technical Education Certificate (NTec) in Information Technology programme is designed for students who wish to gain basic knowledge and skills in Information Technology. This 2-year aims to prepare students as skilled workers in the area of Information Technology. The programme equips graduates for job opportunities such as Assistant IT Technicians in industries and organisations.
Entry Requirements
To gain entry into the NTec in Information Technology programme, students must fulfil the minimum entry requirement of GCE `O` / IGCSE level as follows:
- PASS (1 - 7) / (A-D) in Mathematics or Additional Mathematics or IGSCE Mathematics.
- PASS (1 - 8) / (A-E) in English or IGSCE English as a second language or Literature in English or Computer Science or IGCSE Information and Communication Technology / Computing or Combined Science or Commerce.
OR
A Pass in BTEC Level 2 Extended in Computing or Information Technology will gain entry into NTec in Information Technology programme.
